What’s new?

Version 3.0 is the biggest update for HC-Boards in its history. Its feature set is currently even bigger than the HC-Chat, allowing you to fine-tune your entries much better than with 2.5.

So to answer the question: A lot of things have changed. Let’s start with the big ones:

Universal-Boards

• Each board can now contain Images, Sounds and Videos
• Mixed Boards were migrated into Universal Boards
• Add multiple boards
• Boards can be named and assigned directly to a widget

Better Upload/ Linking

• Improved uploading progress
• Additional verifications to prevent errors

Widget management

• Edit all your widgets within HC-Boards itself
• Configure OBS Settings and assign boards to them

UI Changed

• Boards
  • Overview to see which entries are assigned and if there is a widget defined for your current board
  • Detail-View to access your entries directly
• Entry
  • Detail-View with multiple tabs to configure Trigger, Animation and Effects
• Widget
  • List to check whether all widgets have been assigned
  • Detail to edit OBS Settings and assigned boards
• Notifications for latest news and updates
